If the images were of different subjects and not placed side by side I doubt anyone but a scientist could see any advantage either way. No one was able to guess which was which. I posted several comparisons of OOC Fuji jpegs, and the same image using equivalent film profiles applied to RAW conversion in Iridient. The in camera processor seems to achieve a better balance. Have you compared with the OOC results? Iridient is powerful indeed, and it will make some stuff astoundingly sharp, but there will be other areas that are full of artifacts. The Fuji algorithms seem to have the best blend of localized sharpening and NR. You should see the image’s appearance change almost immediately and the color differences generally should be quite noticeable between the different film looks. However, neither produces results as good as OOC jpegs in my experience. How to install There are three options for loading the presets into Iridient Developer: Double click the desired preset file. Iridient definitely has the edge in sharpening, but LR seems to match colors more accurately in my testing. LR and Iridient are both good in different ways. I tried a bunch of different sharpness settings, but these are the most common ones I used in Lightroom. I'm attaching some screenshots below so you can see the differences.
